IS FALLOUT NORMAL?

Yes, it's perfectly normal to notice some fallout on the edges of your cheer ponytail when you first receive it. Each cheer posh ponytail is custom handmade, and during this process, some natural shedding can occur. This is a common part of creating a high-quality, personalized product and does not affect the overall durability or appearance of your ponytail. If you have any concerns or experience significant shedding, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for assistance.

PLEASE NOTE: Why We Removed the Combs from Our Perfect Posh Ponytails

At The Perfect Posh, athlete safety and product performance are our top priorities. That’s why we’ve made a thoughtful update to our design: we’ve removed the two sewn-in combs from the netting of our cheer ponytails.

After extensive feedback and testing, we found that the combs were not contributing meaningfully to the security of the Posh. In fact, they were often unreliable—breaking over time or, in some cases, poking into the athlete's scalp during wear. That’s a risk we’re simply not willing to take.

We’ve redesigned with intention and care, and we want to assure you that the structure of the Posh remains just as strong and secure as ever. The netting and shape haven’t changed—just the removal of an unnecessary element that didn’t meet our high standards for safety and comfort.

As always, we recommend secure installation using methods like spiral pins, sewing, or zip ties for a snug, confident hold through every full-out and performance.
