Does My Posh Net Need to Cover My Entire Bun?

One of the most common questions we receive is, “Is it okay if my Posh net doesn’t reach all the way down on the sides of my bun?”

The answer is yes!

As long as the net reaches the bottom of your athlete’s bun in the front and the back, your Posh is fitting exactly as designed.

When we created The Perfect Posh, one of our biggest priorities was making the lightest competition ponytail possible without sacrificing fullness or security. To accomplish this, our net is intentionally designed to be slightly narrower from side to side than it is from front to back. This allows us to use only the amount of hair needed to create that full competition look while keeping unnecessary weight off your athlete’s head.

A lighter Posh means more comfort, less pulling, and a more enjoyable experience for athletes during long competition days.

The most important part is that your Posh is properly secured. We recommend using spiral pins or sewing your Posh into place for the most secure hold, but many athletes also have great success using zip ties.

Once your Posh is attached correctly, it is designed to stay secure through jumps, tumbling, stunting, and every moment on the competition floor.
